the first PostSecret book, and another Ursula K. LeGuin book - The Lathe of Heaven.
i have an unhealthy love for PostSecret, as i think it speaks to my young generation in ways we appreciate. i've found that we, more so than those older us, seem to find enlightenment and joy in everyday, personal, and simple things.
we love the snapshots of life. the erudition of a simple moment of the everyday. the mundane, vs. the esoteric.
it's interesting to see.
and Ursula K. LeGuin is simply amazing. :-D
i haven't read her Earthsea cycle yet, but that's because i've been focusing more on her Hainish books. science fiction with a philosophic bent - beautiful.
i almost bought Found and The Perks of Being a Wallflower, but i decided not to. i've only read Perks once, but i think that's ok. it's a wonderful book, but... there are so many out there! ah, books. my addiction. and Found... well, i think PostSecret is better at the moment. lol.
mmm, speaking of books, i have some chapters to read for my ethical theory class, and Good Omens to finish up.
